About Apple King Special Education Centre, Sungai Chua, Kajang
Apple King Special Education Centre is dedicated to delivering therapy services to children with a variety of neurological and developmental needs. We provide assessment and treatment for children with numerous disabilities, such as autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia and more. Louis has been attending Apple King Special Education Centre since August 2020. Before joining the centre, he was reluctant to speak. However, after half a year of studying in Apple King, he became confident and is willing to not only speak but learn too. He used to struggle with two syllable words last year but now, he is able and willing to say up to four syllable words by himself without prompt from his therapist. He can also communicate better after he started learning in Apple King Special Education Centre. I can see that his level of focus has increased too. The therapist at the centre commented in the daily report that he can now sit for a longer period of time during table tasks. Louis used to be very sensitive towards things that are placed on his head, that includes putting on a hat. Hence, it was a struggle for him to put on the headband during the Neurofeedback training. Nevertheless, with the help of the therapist in the centre, through spending much effort in reducing his level of sensitivity and building up his tolerance, he is now able to sit down quietly with the headband on throughout the whole training session without struggle! I can see that Louis really enjoys learning in the centre and he is always looking forward to go to school every day.
Kishan was diagnosed with Autism, he was emotional and no communication skill before Neuroscience training. His study progress was slow too. After 3 months of Neuroscience training, his emotional is obviously stable compare to previous. He can express what he wants better and make new friends in school. His focus on study is a lot better now, hardly distracted by the environment. His study result has improved, his got English award in his school lately.
Zhi Xuan 以前很内向,不善于表达自己。上脑神经反馈训练三个月后,她的沟通能力明显进步,喜欢到游乐场游玩并主动跟不同种族的朋友一起玩耍。 上训练课六个月后,很多事情她会主动发问,对自己想要的东西也比较有主见了。学业上也明显进步很多,大多在90分以上,专注力很好。她现在也比以前开朗很多,对自己完成的事情也会很有成就感,而且现在她也很会察言观色了。
Jay 在上脑神经反馈训练之前说话能力不高,很多时候别人都听不清楚,学习比较被动,吸收能力和分析能力都弱。也可能因此而对自己没信心,社交能力差。 上了脑神经反馈训练三个月后,他开始主动发问了,而且说话比以前清楚许多。他也会主动学习,国文和英文听写明显进步了。对新知识的吸收和分析能力也增强了。 六个月后,他的理解能力更好了,社交能力和自信心也增加了,也因此更开朗了。他敏感与周围发生的事情,观察力也明显进步了。在家也会主动教弟弟妹妹读书。 九个月后,他的记忆力明显进步。他以前学习听写需要花很长时间,现在可以很快地学习而且记忆力长久,弟弟在练习听写时也邀请他一起练习,他可以很快地看过弟弟地听写字词一遍就可以复述出来了,对他来说这是很大的进步。
