Mandarin is the main medium of instruction at MyGenius Kindergarten, whereby children are exposed to a Mandarin speaking environment everyday, through formal and informal ways. Other than Mandarin subject, math and science classes are also conducted in Mandarin. Hence, more than 10 hours of lessons are conducted in Mandarin each week at MyGenius! With such a solid Mandarin foundation during their critical growing years, it was found that more than 98% of the students at MyGenius were able to hold a conversation in that language with ease. Plus, the graduates of MyGenius are able to recognise at least 500 Chinese characters by the time they enrol into primary school.

Trilingual Mastery. Children are exposed to the three main languages of our country, Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia. Before joining MyGenius, our son doesn't know Mandarin at all. After joining, he can understand Chinese and he is able to cope. He is more independent and doesn't rely on us too much. He likes what he studies at MyGenius. He is excited to go to school which is good. He likes the teachers and his friends. The teachers are nice, friendly and honest. The environment is good. So far, MyGenius provides a good foundation to the children preparing to go to Chinese schools. This is the best so far. So far based on feedback from other parents who have experience with other schools, this place is a lot better. It's a good environment and a good place to send your child.
Biggest improvement is in her interaction and social skills. She is more courageous is mixing with others. MyGenius science lesson are very lively. The teachers focus on hygiene very much. MyGenius has a very good environment. During the pandemic, the online home learning helps. MyGenius provides a clean, safe and comfortable environment. They did very well in this aspect.
Before joining, he can't write in Chinese or read Mandarin. Since joining, has big improvement in speaking and reading. Now he is able to express his views clearly and more out-going. We really like the English Enrichment programme. We can see a clear improvement. The fun learning activities on Fridays are very good. Teachers are dedicated, patient and helpful. They will go all out to support the child and parents. As a parent from China, MyGenius definitely meets my expectation. If you want your child to be happy and love to go to school during their kindergarten years, you can have a peace of mind in choosing MyGenius. Highly recommended!
2 months after my triplets enrolled with MyGenius Primary when they entered Standard 1, my children have had a noticeable positive improvement in their study, attitude, and development especially my second son Jayden (who was very reluctant and “don’t care at all” at his study). A year later, my youngest son joined MyGenius Kindergarten and he has done very well too! MyGenius has lightened my burden as a parent of 4 kids as I find it challenging to provide full focus and attention to each of them. Each day my children come home with a happy and joyful heart where I felt absolutely relieved. We knew when we started to look for a preschool that we wanted more than a place where our 5 years old son could learn to read and write. We wanted a safe, nurturing environment where he could learn about more important things. Things like sharing, respect, honesty and independence. It's been less than a year, and not only does he socialise well, but he’s reasonably able to take care of his possessions and homework with little to no supervision. Reading and writing are voluntary and enjoyable past times for him. I can only be amazed and thankful for the dedication and patience shown by his teachers for the progress and improvements that I’m still seeing daily. I highly recommend this kindergarten!
